Due to its health benefits, matcha has seen a surge in popularity over the last years outside of its native home in Japan. At Pekoetea we think the best and most beneficial way to take your matcha is simply to drink it the way it is prepared in Japan.
These pancakes are lighter and fluffier then crepe style pancakes and are more like American pancakes in texture. What I loved about this recipe was how the whisky, spices and tea flavour really comes through in the Scotch Pancake.
