    Apothecary Rose G&Tea Iced Tea

Celebrating World Gin Day at PekoeTea

Saturday the 12th of June 2021 is International World Gin Day so I thought I would share my recipe for Apothecary Rose G&Tea Iced Tea.  The botanicals in the Secret Garden Gin Teas really pick up the flavours of a gin and tonic, except there's no alcohol involved.  This iced tea recipe is an ideal summer alcohol-free drink and it's very refreshing on a hot day.  Don't be tempted to skip the cucumber garnish, it really enhances the botanicals in this iced tea giving a delicious refreshing flavour.

Ingredients:Secret Herb Garden Apothecary Rose G&Tea Iced Tea in Glass with dried rose and tea leaves

2 Tbsp Secret  Garden Apothecary Rose G&Tea

A couple of cucumber slices to garnish

1 litre of just boiled water

    Lemonade

    Method:

Add the tea to 1 litre of freshly boiled water.

Stir and leave to infuse for 6 minutes.

Strain the hot tea to remove the leaves.

Wait for the tea to cool to room temperature then put in the fridge until cooled.

Add a couple of ice cubes to a glass, pop in some slices of cucumber garnish.

Fill the glass to 2/3 full with iced tea, top up with lemonade and enjoy.

If you try this iced tea recipe yourself, please get in touch and let us know how you got on.
