My name is Gary Smith and I'm delighted to introduce myself as the new host for tea tastings at PekoeTea. With years of experience living in China and training for a year in a private tea house, I've gained a deep appreciation for tea. I'm thrilled to be able to take you on a journey through the world of tea and share my knowledge, experience, and passion with you. Tea is a fascinating subject, and I'm excited to guide you through it and help you discover new teas that you might not have encountered before.

Our first tastings will introduce you to Chinese Gongfu tea. Gongfu tea is a traditional Chinese tea brewing method that showcases the beauty and complexity of tea by brewing it in a small teapot or gaiwan. You will have the opportunity to taste four high-quality artisanal Chinese teas, each with its own unique flavour profile and history. I will guide you through the origins and stories behind each tea. In addition to the tea, guests will also be treated to some delicious artisanal Turkish delight as a perfect complement to the teas.

The tastings are for small groups of 3 to 5 people. This intimate setting allows for a more personalised experience where you can ask questions and share the experience with your friends.
