Celebrating World Gin Day

Celebrating World Gin Day

For International World Gin Day we are bringing back our gin tea blend! To celebrate, we would like to re-post our recipe for a refreshing summer drink - the Rose G&Tea Iced Tea. This delightful concoction features our Gin Tea, which is infused with botanicals that reflect the flavours of a gin and tonic, minus the alcohol. The iced tea recipe is not only ideal for those who prefer alcohol-free drinks, but it's also perfect for hot summer days. To enhance the botanicals' flavours, don't forget to add a cucumber garnish, which gives the drink an extra refreshing taste.

Ingredients:Secret Herb Garden Apothecary Rose G&Tea Iced Tea in Glass with dried rose and tea leaves

2 Tbsp Gin, Tea & Roses

A couple of cucumber slices to garnish

1 litre of just boiled water

Lemonade

Method:

Add the tea to 1 litre of freshly boiled water.

Stir and leave to infuse for 6 minutes.

Strain the hot tea to remove the leaves.

Wait for the tea to cool to room temperature then put in the fridge until cooled.

Add a couple of ice cubes to a glass, pop in some slices of cucumber garnish.

Fill the glass to 2/3 full with iced tea, top up with lemonade and enjoy.

If you try this iced tea recipe yourself, please get in touch and let us know how you got on.
