This beautiful tea blend is inspired by the life of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, to celebrate her centenary.
It was designed specifically for Royal Yacht Britannia, which is moored in Leith just a few minutes away from our PekoeTea blending factory. This tea blend aligns with Britannia’s commitment to local heritage, combining historical storytelling with a refined and contemporary flavour profile.
The tea links the two geographical pillars of her reign: from Kenya, where she famously “went up the tree a princess and came down a queen,” to the serene moors of Balmoral, her beloved Scottish sanctuary.
We hand blended robust Kenyan black tea with rare Scottish-grown tea, heather, and a playful hint of Scottish-grown strawberry. It is finished with a a delicate Earl Grey note, inspired by her well-known preference for Earl Grey tea.
This tea is a tribute to her enduring strength, famous wit, and grace.
