• Inspired by the different flavour profiles from across Scotland, these teas have been carefully hand-crafted to reflect the typical single malt whisky flavours from each region.
• We have partnered with Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, the capital of Speyside. We use their heritage 15-year-old single malt in this blend, which hand-crafted by us in Edinburgh.
• The Speyside region is located in the north of Scotland, east of Inverness and it is home to the largest number of whisky distilleries out of all of the whisky regions of Scotland.
• The river Spey is second longest river and the fastest flowing river in Scotland. It is the abundant supply of pure water that helps give Speyside whiskies their smooth and complex flavours, with delicious hints of sweet fruit and vanilla.

United KingdomThis is the first tea I've ever tasted which feels and tastes a little bit creamy! I like tea without milk and sugar and tend towards lighter brew times so I went for the 3min brewing time in the 3-5 min suggestion. The black tea is not stringent or bitter, it tastes very evenly blended and if you pay attention you can distinguish the different flavours of the fruit and tea. It does have a sweetness which I like and a lightness which feels quite summer-like. It also feels 'creamy' on the tongue - I've never had that sensation drinking tea before so perhaps that is the added whisky just tickling the taste buds! I made a point of not looking at the ingredients when I started tasting to see what hit me (I ordered it to try a sample a few weeks ago and had completely forgotten what was in it, apart from whisky) - and it really reminds me of strawberries and cream, so I was pretty blown away to go back up in writing this review and read that it does contain strawberries! In fact, I might try it with a strawberry cream scone when the good weather comes this weekend. I think they may be the perfect lazy afternoon combo. :-) I've ***** all sorts of tea over the years as my taste buds have changed - this is the first special black tea I've had for many years and it does not disappoint. I'm now interested in trying the other blends.
