Tea
We source the finest single-estate teas and create unique hand-crafted blends at our Edinburgh tea factory in the historic port of Leith.
All our teas are packed by hand into either recyclable caddies and boxes with plastic free inners, or resealable stand-up pouches.
All our teas are loose leaf and many in our range are also available in bio-degradable pyramid teabags
We offer an extensive range of the highest quality premium teas, both single estates sourced from tea growing regions around the world and exquisite flavoured blends made by hand in our factory in Edinburgh.

Made by roasting autumn harvested bancha green tea, this Hojicha has a dark brown appearance and is low in caffeine and tannins. This is an aromatic tea with a mild smoky taste and is a great tea to warm your body. This tea is produced by Shohokuen, famous in Japan for their top quality teas. The high quality of this tea makes it possible to infuse the leaves twice.

This tea is great to drink in the evening, thanks to its low caffeine content. It has a complex burnt taste that lingers on the palate. For a lighter taste simply use less tea. I’ve tried this and the lighter Hojicha and see no reason to return to the light version. This version also contains less caffeine as it is roasted for longer, thus removing more caffeine.
