Gopaldhara China Muscatel is a second flush Darjeeling made from tea bushes that are over 130 years old. It is a very high grade full leaf tea, with a high level of oxidation that produces a deep dark orange liquour and a full flavour.
The bushes are Chinese cultivars that have been planted in Darjeeling, resulting in an interesting combination of tea traditions, with a smooth, syrupy mouthfeel and a fascinating caramel and muscatel flavour.

Moondrops is a delicate first flush Darjeeling from the Gopaldhara Estate. It is harvested from old China bushes at an elevation of around 1500m on gardens under the supervision of estate manager Mr Khati. During the harvest only young single leaves and buds are picked for this tea. They are then withered, lightly oxidised and dried.
