Handmade Wuyi Lapsang Souchong

  • This exceptional Lapsang Souchong is from the Tong Mu village, the birthplace of lapsang, near Wuyi. It is made by the Zhou family, who have been handmaking teas for generations.
  • Harvested on 5th April 2016 from the Meizhan cultivar, it has been dried but not baked or smoked. Unlike traditional Tarry Lapsang, the flavours are sweet, light, malty and slightly floral.

  • Try re-infusing several times.
