  • Bai Ji Guan is a roasted oolong tea from Wuyi Mountain in Fujian province, China. Bai Ji Guan means “White Cockscomb” and legend has it that a monk named this tea after a courageous rooster who sacrifised his life for his baby. The tea plants are said to have grown from the spot where the rooster was buried. Unlike other Wuyi teas the leaves of Bai Ji Guan are light in colour. When infused this tea is soft and light and has a delicate sweet aftertaste. This subtleties of this tea develop with each infusion.
